This March, the Brookfield High School chapter of National Honor Society will host A Little Bid of Brookfield in order to raise money for the Children’s Health Fund. The Children’s Health fund is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 by Paul Simon (singer/songwriter) and Dr. Irwin Redlener (pediatrician/child advocate). Their mission is to provide comprehensive healthcare to the nation’s most medically underserved children through the development and support of primary care medical programs, response to public health crises, and the promotion of guaranteed access to appropriate health care for all children. Since 1987, the Children’s Health Fund has funded 1,600,000 patient visits and has 22 ongoing projects in 13 states.

“Bid of Brookfield” will take place on March 12th, 2010 at Brookfield High School. The event will have a live auction to raise money for the Children’s Health Fund.
